Last training session before King's Cup match against L'Hospitalet

Barça held a closed door training session this morning at the Camp Nou to finalize preparations for the return leg of the King’s Cup against L’Hospitalet. Guardiola worked with 18 footballers: 11 first-teamers and 7 Barça B players. Before the match, the manager must exclude two players from his 16-man roster.

It’s been 15 days since the first team walked on the pitch of the Camp Nou. The last time was against BATE Borisov on the 6th of December in the last game of the group stage of the Champions League. This Thursday morning the first team returned to the Camp Nou in a closed door training session to finalize preparations for the return leg of the King’s Cup against L’Hospitalet. Guardiola, in a light training session, worked with 18 footballers; 11 first-teamers and 7 from Barça B. Dani Alves, who has been training with the team this week, was not present. The Brazilian, just like the rest of the South American players, plus Abidal and Keita, are on vacation.

Guardiola will have to exclude 2 footballers from the 18 he has at his disposal to complete his 16-man roster for tonight’s match. The team ate together at the Camp Nou and now they are enjoying some free time before they return to the stadium at 20.30 hrs.

The Barça B players that have been training with the first team are Cuenca, Montoya, Sergi Roberto, Muniesa, Tello, Dos Santos and Rafinha. (via FCBarcelona.cat)
