No agreement for the Copa del Rey final

The agreement to establish the date and venue for the final Copa del Rey still in the air. Barça bid for Calderón and Athletic for Cartuja.

FC Barcelona, Athletic and RFEF still not reach an agreement to determine the location and timing of the final of the Copa del Rey. With the Bernabéu ruled out, the options passed by the Calderón and La Cartuja.

While the club azulgrana submitted its request to play in Madrid on May 25, Athletic preferred bet Sevilla on May 20.

At the end of the meeting Freixa ratified it: "The date must necessarily be the 25, the ideal scenario is the Calderón. Although the Athletic wants to celebrate the day 20 and in the monastery."

Given this scenario, the RFEF has announced that next Tuesday will decide on the outcome of the 'saga' of the Copa. (via SPORT)
