Abidal could be operated on Monday

FC Barcelona defender Eric Abidal could undergo surgery on Monday.

As reported on Friday the French newspaper L'Equipe in digital, the Blaugrana Eric Abidal will have surgery next Monday.

Abidal will undergo a liver transplant at the hospital Barnaclínic.

As noted by French media, the defense will enter Sunday night and the living donor is a cousin of the player who is already in Barcelona.

Abidal had surgery a year ago to remove a tumor in the liver and, given the evolution of liver process must undergo an organ transplant. (via SPORT)
