Come riportato da alcuni giornali inglesi (Daily Mirror e Sun) ma anche dal quotidiano spagnolo AS, lo sceicco Mansour, patron del Manchester City, sarebbe pronto a spendere la folle cifra di 180 milioni di Euro per riportare a Manchester Cristiano Ronaldo, stavolta però dalla sponda City, dopo i trascorsi del giocatore nei Red Devils!
Il tutto sarebbe arricchito da uno stipendio faraonico (quasi 20 milioni di Euro a stagione) per il campione portoghese... tuttavia è d'obbligo usare il condizionale, poiché al momento tutto ciò non è stato minimamente confermato dalla società, che anzi smentisce qualsiasi interesse nei confronti del giocatore; inoltre il Real Madrid, il team in cui il giocatore attualmente milita, lo considera assolutamente incedibile e fondamentale per la squadra.
