The Barcelona striker warned that on Tuesday the team must be alert throughout the 90 minutes against the Italian team, because "they are able to change the scoreline at any time".
Pedro acknowledged that "I’m lacking the coolness in front of goal" of other years, but "I’m here to help the team".
As for the attempt to catch Real Madrid in the League, Pedro doesn’t think it’s such an outlandish idea. "We know we can do it. Madrid have a good lead but we just have to take it game by game, playing as we are now, and hoping that they slip up, so we can reduce the difference. It’ll be difficult because they are playing at such a high level, but we are in our best moment of the season with the mentality to be able to do it…………it will be difficult but not impossible."
Speaking personally, Pedro recognised that "I'm feeling good both in training and in games….I’m lacking the coolness in front of goal that I had in previous years, and perhaps that’s what I need to get back to be in the starting line-up" he said. He added that "I am eager to help the team. The manager has the final say as to whether I’m in the starting eleven, but I will always be here to help the team, because the most important thing is to get the victory, and go through".
