The Dutch forward Ibrahim Afellay FC Barcelona came back today at the Stadium of Vallecas after seven months injured in the match that his team won Rayo Vallecano (0-7), playing the last 17 minutes of the encounter.
The Dutchman fell seriously injured on October 3, 2011, for a break in the the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, which occurred at a team training.
Afellay reappeared today vs. Rayo Vallecano in the game for the thirty-sixth day of la Liga, when he replaced on 73 minutes from match to Sergio Busquets. (via MD)
