Xavi Hernández has been ruled out of the last-16 away leg of the Champions League against Bayer 04 Leverkusen. The Barça midfielder sustained an injury to his right leg, forcing Guardiola to replace him at the BayArena.
The player’s recovery will mark his availability for Barça’s upcoming matches. Xavi has not played in three of Barça’s four latest matches. He was on the bench for the league games against Osasuna and Real Sociedad and for the Cup return leg at the Camp Nou last week against Valencia. (via FCBarcelona.com)
