Dutt: "We had too much respect for Barça in the first half"

Bayer Leverkusen coach Robin Dutt, admitted that his team had too much respect to Barça in the match that eventually ended up losing at home (1-3) even praised the defensive work of the first 45 minutes.

"The defensive order of the first 45 minutes was very good, we played very disciplined but had too much respect," Dutt said after the match.

"I think most likely not allow a point of failure and brought the first goal", he added.

In the second half the team, according to Dutt, dared to leave more and is satisfied although he added "it is clear that when it comes to playing well against a team like Barcelona you can end up in trouble." (via SPORT)
