Bayer Leverkusen present FC Barcelona with a bar football table to be auctioned for charity

The foosball table has been signed by members of both teams and will be auctioned for a children’s charity that works with Leverkusen.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen have given FC Barcelona a bar football table in recognition of their visit to Germany for the Champions League fixture this week. The table was presented at the Monday night supper for executives from both clubs. FC Barcelona President Sandro Rosell led the FCB entourage, and was able to admire the table with the signatures of the Barça players, who had signed it just before they trained in the BayArena, and also the members of the Bayer Leverkusen squad.

During the dinner, Rosell and a member of the football area, Raúl Sanllehí, teamed up against Bayer Chairman Wolfgang Holzhäuser and his director of sport and former player Rudi Völler.

The table will shortly be auctioned off. The money collected will go to a charity organisation based in Leverkusen that works with children. (via FCBarcelona.com)
